Lyric Dress

Box sleeve wrap dress in white ash to smoke grey ombré featuring all-over, bespoke placement print and meticulous hand-embroidery including the licensed lyrics to 'Pictures of You', most famously performed by The Cure. The lyrics were hand-written directly onto the dress pattern to perfectly wrap around the body, a process that took over 8 days to complete.

Cut by hand and made in Australia from silk cotton by renowned Parisian fabric mill Maison Bucol, the Lyric dress is hand-embroidered by Chanakya artisan in India, who also work with notable luxury houses including Dior.

The dress features an exaggerated fit and flare silhouette, inseam side pockets, an extravagant hem circumference, oversized box sleeves with under-sleeve cut-outs and a matching waist tie. Narrow roulette and hand-embroidered thread loops offer alternate fastening options. A Japanese thread-covered hook and hand embroidered thread loop fastens the centre front. The Lyric Dress is unlined, with fine internal binds and French seam finishes for inside-out perfection.
