Portrait of A Man Dress
A hero Common Hours piece, the Portrait of A Man dress perfectly embodies the brand's artistic inspirations. A classic floor length strapless column dress, it features 'Portrait of a Man, 1928', a licensed artwork by 1920s Art Deco artist Tamara de Lempicka. The artwork was meticulously positioned in-house through placement print to wrap around the body and perfectly match across all seams.
Cut by hand and made in Australia from virgin wool mohair blend developed and printed in Como, Italy. This piece is complete with a boned power mesh balconette inner bra for support and a deep back hem vent for movement. Unlined with narrow flat bind, French seam finishes for inside out perfection, inseam side pockets and a deep centre back split for movement and ease.
Looks like: elegant men's tailoring with a subversive touch.
Feels like: powerful, effortless, super-soft Italian wool with a cool hand feel.
